About Whitley

Hey everyone!

I’m 2o years old, going to be 21 in July. I’m going to school here at a community college for now, and after I get my basics there I’m going to transfer to Louisiana State University to study Library Sciences. I’m going to become a librarian so I can share my love for reading with everyone.

Me and Mini Edward

I really like Twilight (in case you couldn’t tell), and I’m so happy and relieved to have this  outlet for my many musings about Twilight I have in my daily life. I think the real reason Jeremy made this blog is because he was tired of me talking his ear off or showing him videos about Twilight, Edward and Robert Pattinson. (Yeah, sorry about that)

Comments are greatly appreciated, and thanks for checking us out!

  1. Hey, I’m so glad that you managed to get Jeremy to read it. I made my boyfriend watch the film last week and it didn’t make much of an impression on him, uh oh! Once I’ve finished reading Twilight, I’m passing it over for him to read, he just needs a warm up!
I was thinking about this group thang and I was thinking of using something with ‘Tri’ in it, I think it would be good to keep it within three years. It’s a positive number! ‘Triennium’ means a period of 3 years, so maybe we could include that somehow… Twi-Tri RP, lolz! I’ll let catch up with you later!

    • Awesome! I like that name too! And yeah, if he tries to say he doesn’t want to read it, offer to read it to him. That’s how I caught Jeremy in the Twilight trap. I knew I had him when he was asking me to read to him, now he gets mad if a night goes by and I don’t! This blog was his idea too. So it can be done, don’t give up!

  2. Hmm…maybe I should try reading to OMB.

    • Try it! You never know until you you do, and he would probably find something to like about it. Let us know how it goes!

  3. Hey Whitley! Great blog! You left a comment on our blog and we would be honored if you linked to us. 🙂 We’re glad you liked us!

  7. Whitley, just ran across your blog today while scoping out the newest on Twi-Tarded. Pretty funny stuff. Sorry your Wal-Mart blows.

Anyway, writing to let you know about another vamp series you might be interested in (if you haven’t already heard of them), The Sookie Stackhouse novels by Charlaine Harris. Based in good ol’ Louisiana. They are just as addicting as the Twilight Saga (which I am nuts about), but offer a more … adult theme. Don’t know if you watch HBO, but the books have been made into a series called “True Blood”. Anyway, check it out if you want.

    • Thank you so much for the tip! I have been meaning to look into these ever since I heard it was set in Louisiana (my family is from there), but I was sure of the name. I will definitely be on the lookout for these. Thanks so much!

    • Oh man I’m so addicted to True Blood! I just put Book 1 on hold at the library. And these are 2 co-stars that ARE dating – even better!

      • I’m trying to get a hold of the books right now. I’ve never seen the show either, but it looks very good. Hopefully I can get my hands on the first season soon!

  8. I suckered my bf by making him listen to the book on tape with me over Thanksgiving weekend last year. We had REALLY long drives to both our families and by the end of the night, he wanted to see the film.

    • That’s so cool! I knew Jeremy had crossed to the dark side when he asked if the books were on tape (I had been reading them aloud to him awhile). There was a moment where, inside, I was like, “Yes!”

  9. I love this website. It’s so… unique and twilight loving. I adore it- I love how u got ur boyfriend to read twilight, u don’t get alot of twilight reading men in this world. Please email me at cullenluver12@Aol.com and yes, I know how weird my email is, but it’ me.

    • Thanks for commenting! I agree, there aren’t enough men who read Twilight around. Good luck with your website!

  10. HI, I just stumbled across you via another twilgiht blog. I love your stuff and was excited to know a fellow Louisiana girl was behind it! Go Tigers!

    • So glad to have you, especially since we might be kindred! My mom’s family lives around the Toledo Bend area, and my dad’s family is spread all over the state.
