Most Extreme Twilight Product EVER! NSFW or Under 18!

I’m going to say this again. This post is extremly not safe for work, and anyone under 18 reading this right now, leave. Please. What I am about to post about is SO not appropriate, but still hilarious to me, and I have to share this with other adult Twilight fans.

So, one of my favorite places on the internet is It’s an online women’s magazine that discusses politics, pop culture, fashion, feminist issues, and of course, sex. I highly reccomend this site to everyone.

Anyway, today there was an article about creepy Twilight merchandise. The Edward Cullen Silhouette for your bedroom wall is a little creeptastic, I must say. But the second item is what really took me by surprise.

Y’all, there is a…

Q&A With THIS Twilight Blogger

Ana Cristina from The Danger Magnet has a cool side gig as the Miami Books Examiner. She has an awesome feature on her Examiner page of interviews with different Twilight bloggers over the age of 20. A few of my favorite fellow bloggers have been featured, such as Twitarded, Letters to Twilight and Ang (Amcas) from Why Not? Twilight, RPattz and Me.

This week, little old me was featured and I had a lot of fun with the questions Ana Cristina chose. Here’s a sneak peak:

Q. What are the pros and cons of being a Twilight fan over the age of 13?

1. Some people think you are weird. Really. When my best friend and I went to the midnight release of the Twilight DVD, we had some parents there asking us, “Why did you even read these books in the first place? You’re not bothered by being so much older?” Uh well, I wasn’t until now, so thanks! (I didn’t know until then that 20 was too old for anything!) All of the people asking the questions hadn’t read the books, so I could understand their puzzlement because I was the same way before I gave in and read them myself.

2. You can feel a little silly going into Hot Topic every other week to check out the new merch. I thought I

Our New Button! And Other Blog News

I suddenly disappeared this weekend because I took a spur-of-the-moment trip to Louisiana (our home land) with my mom to my grandma’s on Friday. As you probably already guessed, they have no high speed internet there, and even my phone doesn’t get signal so I was essentially dead to the world for a few days.

When I came back, the first thing I did was switch on my laptop, load up the blog and Tweet Deck (did I mention that I love Tweet Deck more than my life? It makes everything so easy!). I was pleasantly surprised at all the good things I had waiting for me.

First of all, we had over 1000 hits…

Cross Posting From

We got a lot of hits today because of all the Comic Con stuff happening today, and we continue to get high hits on this blog every day. Because of that, we made the decision to cross post here and at our main website Twilog.

Next up, what everyone wants to see…Comic Con!

It’s Official Folks, We Have Moved!

For those of you that weren’t aware, we have decided to move our blog from wordpress to our own site. The new place is still in the development phases, so if it looks weird, we are still working on a few tweaks in older posts to get everything in working order.

I will still be on Twitter under Twilog_Whitley and very shortly Jeremy and I will have email set up at the new site. If you have any comments or suggestions, feel free to drop us a line.

You can now find us at:

All future posts will be there, so I hope to see you all there very shortly!

Another Site Announcement

So it’s slow going on Jeremy is working on it in his spare time (which he doesn’t have much of) and I’m hoping we can get it up and running soon.

I was thinking about the new site earlier as I was walking around the important and the Twilight soundtrack blared from my Ipod. Jeremy wants to move everything over to a blog we can actually put ads on so that writing the blog can be my job.

Did you catch that? He’s actually giving me an excuse to constantly look up Twilight/Rob Pattinson stuff online all day, obsessively scrutinize paparazzi pictures of the cast taken on errands, think of new adventures for Mini Edward and demand all the cool Twilight merch (like that mousepad pictured above. Even though I have a laptop, I still want that) instead of doing my share of the chores and just generally being a productive member of society.

I can’t explain how happy this makes me! It’s always been my dream to write for a living and since I learned how, I’ve filled up numerous journals and spiral notebooks writing down my personal thoughts or observations about everything. And now that there’s a chance that I might have a chance to support myself doing the most fun thing in the world to me (writing my thoughts and feelings about all things Twilight), I’m super excited.

I will be keeping you guys updated as things progress and probably asking your opinion on how the site should look and other shiz like that. We will also hold our very first contest soon after we launch, as a thank you to all of you who have been with us since the beginning.

Stay tuned!

Taylor Looks Beat, Eclipse Director and Peter Facinelli

Lainey Gossip has a quick article about David Slade arriving in Vancouver, possibly to scout for Eclipse filming locations? He’s been confirmed as the director for the next installment. I’ve never seen any of his movies, but my mom has 30 Days of Night, so I will be watching that soon to get familiar with his work.

Also attached to her post are some pictures of Taylor looking like he was woken up from a nap, and Peter Facinelli at the airport today. Lainey says they were on the same flight and Peter got quite into a game he played on his  iPod during the flight. Cute!

I’m kinda needing a Rob fix. Hopefully he emerges soon.

Site Annoucement

I have been complaining a lot lately about where we host the blog. It’s not that I don’t like wordpress,  because I do, I really do. But they have this pesky rule about not accepting certain codes and all that means to me is I can’t have any cool widgets with New Moon countdowns or Rob picture of the day in the sidebar.

So Jeremy told me today before he left that he bought and we will be moving the blog over there shortly. He said a bunch of other stuff, but it involved computers, so all I heard was “Blah blah blah” or possibly what Charlie Brown heard when his teacher talked, so I’m not really sure when this will be taking place since Jeremy is still on business in NYC. But I did pay attention when he told me we would be able to have any kind of widget I want, so I’m pretty excited. He also said we will host the blog in both places for a little while (don’t ask me how, he might as well be speaking another language when he talks about technical stuff) so don’t worry, we aren’t going anywhere for awhile.

Also, an update on the contest we were considering running here on Twilog. 26 people voted in our poll and 25 of you said you want to compete for free stuff, so we will go ahead and do that some time soon, probably sometime after the move. Much thanks to all of you that voted, and if you have any suggestions of types of games or contests or any feedback on what you want to win, please shoot us an email or comment to let us know!
